Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)

The Sportsbook Manager will lead a team to exceed the targets of a multi-million dollar turnover business. This person will inspire, motivate and train the Sportsbook department to be the best they can be and deliver the company’s vision.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

a.      Lead, drive, energize and motivate entire team.

b.      Maintain a diligent and professional staff for the Sportsbook.

c.       Recruit for ‘the next role’ and facilitate internal progression plan for organizational advancement.

d.      Employee relations are addressed in a timely fashion and necessary actions are taken to adhere to company policies and procedures.

e.      Safeguard that the license is protected to the best of ability - respond immediately to any threats to the license.

f.        Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual audits in a timely manner.

g.       Review financial reports in detail and identify key business and operational findings.

h.      Manage change and the introduction of initiatives within the area.

i.        Collaborate with senior commercial team on marketing efforts.

j.        Maintain accuracy of promotional offers, digital content management, and event calendar to ensure operational structure.

k.       Disseminate key operational issues to staff with corresponding initiatives and actions.

l.        Evaluate monthly performance, present key findings to partners and Senior Leadership, and make recommendations for operational improvement.

m.    Identify, plan and execute local initiatives for market growth.

n.      Lead Sportsbook team members to facilitate customer education and engagement.

o.      Gathering information and feedback from customers to provide the highest level of customer experience.

p.      Ability to extend complimentaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.






Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) 

a.                  Self-starter; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to drive both strategy and execution.

b.                  Strong collaboration and project management skills.

c.                   Ability to nights, weekends and holidays. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

d.                  Experience in sports or online gaming highly desire.


Educational Requirements

a.      Three (3) + years of managerial experience working directly with team across multiple locations.

b.      BS/BA preferred.

c.       Must be able to qualify for and maintain license as required by the State Gaming Agency.


Physical Requirements

a.      Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

b.      Ability to ascend and descend stairs.

c.       Ability to stoop, bend and reach outward and above the head.

d.      Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Working Conditions

a.      24/7 high energy casino with up to 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and up to 3000 employees

b.      Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.

c.       You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
